                        A wink from a heroine is enough these days to fabricate a love-lust story around it. The power of creative writing (gossips) always makes people in it shallow and here is the example of Taapsee.


                     A report in the media stated that sizzling heroine Taapsee is a bit disgusted about the famous Academy Awards aka Oscars. The report stated as the actress saying she is not worried about awards and recognitions, as her mother's appreciation is equal to an Oscar for her. Critics fired their guns immediately on this dazzling starlet not for the comparison but for the comment. 'Taapsee haven't done such a hair rising performance till date and there is no need for her to equate Oscars to her', a critic said.


                     However, our slim-wonder got puzzled after reading the tabloid and expressed a shock, before stressing she had never made such comments. 'Taapsee was miffed with the writings of that website and they haven't taken back their assertions, though the actress condemned it, a close source to Taapsee shared.

                      Ram Charan's biggest challenge as a successor to megastar Chiranjeevi was to match his father's speed and grace in dances. Even mega fans waited for his debut movie with bated breath to see his dancing skills and they were more than satisfied with his superb dances in the song Yamaho Yama from Chirutha.


                    Charan didn't do exceptional dance moves in remaining songs, but Yamaha Yama was enough to put him among the league of best dances. In Magadheera he came up with rocking dances in Bangaru Kodipetta song and in Orange his graceful dance moves in Rooba Rooba song were a treat to watch. However, Charan didn't offer a dance fest for his fans in his movies till now. He restricted himself to one song per film and fans have been waiting to see him do great dances in more than one song per each movie.


                       Racha is going to be the movie that they have been waiting for. If the sources are to be believed Ram Charan's dances in four out of five songs will be a feast for his fans. Racha title song would be his best so far in terms of dances it seems. His massy dances in Dillaku Dillaku and Singareni undi songs are going to rock big time. Charan matched the graceful dance moves of his father in the remix song of Vaana Vaana Velluvaye, sources say. It is going to be Racha all the way.

                 It is heard that during the shooting of the film 'Murder' which saw the rise of a new sex goddess Mallika Sherawat, few intimate scenes were being shot. But Mallika was reportedly uncomfortable doing those scenes. So, the director got a body double. It turned out that the body double was very sexy than Mallika and had a great curvaceous body. 


                 Realising the oomph factor the body double got, Mallika immediately stepped up and said she will do the scenes. The lucky man to enjoy both was the serial kisser Emraan Hashmi. And though Mallika took the last minute decision to get intimate, it has changed her fortune in a big way. Thanks to that body double.

                    Dil Raju is not just a producer who unloads money in director's pockets. His penchant for filmmaking made him intervene in each and every department right from direction to art, music to dubbing and distribution to release. But, are the team under him is satisfied? 


                  An insider from Dil Raju camp says a solid 'NO', when questioned about the future of assistant directors working in his team. Under condition of anonymity he revealed few things and here they are you. Till now there are almost 50-60 assistant directors associated with Dil Raju's company 'Sri Venkateswara creations' and only 4-5 of them are promoted as directors. Generally, the director takes a call on his team, but here at Dil's office, he finalizes who should work in the direction team and their responsibilities. So, even if an outsider like Dasarath directs a film for him, the assistants' team belongs to Dil Raju only. Other than this, a film is taking more than 1-2 years to complete and these fellows work 24x7 without any leaves and holidays with no scope for 'personal life'. 


                 However, Cine pundits say that such hard work and rigorous training is required to become one Puri or Vinayak. While some of the team is weeping like this, some are racing to become directors under the production of DilRaju itself.

'Dammu'- Another Version Of 'Simha'

The clock is ticking for Junior NTR to arrive with his new movie ‘Dammu’ and it is heard that the audio release has been scheduled for March 24th and the venue has been decided as Shilpa Kala Vedika. On the other hand, the makers are looking at the month of April for the film’s release.


While that is one side, sources say NTR would be seen in a dual role and there is also a flashback episode wherein the powerful NTR would come forth. Going by the information, it appears that ‘Dammu’ has a similar formula of ‘Simha’. The fact that it is directed by Boyapati Sreenu adds more credibility.


The music is by M M Keeravani and the audio is being released through Vel Records. The shooting is currently happening at Ramoji Film City and everything is on schedule. This is being produced by Alexander Vallabha. While the speculations are on, only the film’s release will give the true picture.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, who had portrayed the role of southern sex siren Silk Smitha in ‘The Dirty Picture’, won the best actress award in the National Film Awards announced by the jury.


Actress Rohini Hattangady, who was the chairperson of the Feature Films Jury (Central Panel), announced the 59th National Film Awards at a media conference in Delhi today.  The awards will be presented to the winners at a special function on May 3, she said.


Actor Girish Kulkarni got the best actor award for his role in the Marathi film ‘Deool’ which along with ‘Byari’ shared the honours for the best feature film. ‘I Am’, directed by Onir, was honoured with the best Hindi feature film award.

                   The credit titles of Sanjay Gupta's Shootout At Wadala would have Sanjay Gupta's wife Anu Gupta's name as co-producer along with Ekta Kapoor.


                      Says Gupta enthusiastically, "Yes, for the first time my wife Anu's name will appear as the official producer for my film. In the past ten years, I've been to hell and back. I had a near-fatal accident. My wife brought me back from the dead. She gave me a new life, a new beginning and a son, at a time when my so-called friends decided to get seriously malicious. It's a new beginning for me. And if today I'm on the threshold of a fresh beginning it's because of my wife and the son that she has gifted me. So yes, she's the official co-producer of Shootout At Wadala."


                     Gupta has no ambitions of seeing his little son Shivansh grow up to be a filmmaker. 'No way! I've chosen this amazing international school for Shivansh, recommended by my dear friend Anil Kapoor. When I saw the school and the facilities and vision provided there, I immediately began dreaming big academic dreams for my son."


                      The film was launched on Wednesday evening in Mumbai with most of the star cast present to lend Sanjay Gupta support, although a section of the industry had threatened to ostracize anyone associated with Gupta.


                         Laughs Gupta nonchalantly, "I wish my detractors get a life of their own. You really can't keep a creative man down. Every effort to pull me down has finally failed. There was a time when everyone I approached to do a role had already received a warning against working with me. Luckily for me, actors of the caliber of Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee and Sonu Sood stood by me. So today I am here, starting a film that I hope will prove I still have a long way to go."


                        Gupta says he has never felt so nervous excited and anxious. "When I started my career as a director in 1994 with Aatish, I was barely 22 and completely fearless. I had no fear of the unknown because I didn't know what lay in store. Today having made that long journey, I am embarking on another phase in my life with far more nervousness than my first film because I've a huge personal and professional responsibility on my shoulder. Shootout At Wadala has to work."


                       Known for adapting foreign films all his career Shootout At Wadala is a fiercely original script. Protests Gupta, "Sure, a lot of my work in the past was derivative. But none of the adaptations were blind copies. I did my own take on the originals. And I've also done original films. In my Dus Kahaniyaan every story was original."


                       Copyright rules have lately become more stringent. Is that one of the reasons why Sanjay Gupta has decided to go original with his new film?


                       Protests the director, "Not at all! And really, who says filmmakers have stopped copying because of stringent copyright laws? They're still doing it, though not getting caught at it. Even now proving plagiarism charges in a court of law is very tough. No, I'm only going to be doing original films now. Let others do the derivations now. I'm done with them."


                      At the event for the commencement of Shootout At Wadala on Thursday evening, Sanjay Gupta had a special section devoted to his technicians. "They are the ones who actually make a film. Of course, I honoured the actors in my film by giving each one of them their character's name and a dialogue from the film. But I felt it was equally important to honour the technicians."

                  This film which was produced by Studio Green has now decided to release its dubbed version in Telugu with the title Palanti Veerudu.It was decided to release this film on 2nd March. At this juncture director Ameer has given a complaint to Chennai Police Commissioner against Studio Green.


                  Director Ameer while speaking about this said, “Studio Green has decided to release Paruthiveeran in Telugu without my permission. They have not given me rights and royalty amount and are trying to release the film on 2nd March.


                    I came to know this issue earlier itself and I had given intimation in writing to Gemini Colour Labs stating that they should not give Telugu dubbing rights and remake rights negative to anyone. They took the letter and assured me that they will not give the rights to anyone but Gemini Colour Labs and Studio Green have jointly cheated me and have decided to release this film in Telugu. I am making a complaint about this issue to the Chennai Police Commissioner since the story and screenplay of this film belongs to me.”

I felt that it is better not to act in this role and refused it.


                     Similarly I was offered second heroine role in Jeeva’s film. I refused that also. Currently I am acting in 3 Malayalam films, 2 Kannada films and in 1 Telugu film. On the whole I am having six films in my hands. I have strong faith in God and hard work. I have the talent of facing any problem. I am prepared to wait for good films.”

               When asked Siddarth that why he could not been seen in Tamil films regularly, he said, “I like Tamil cinema very much but I have a market in Telugu. I get good directors and quality stories there. I confidently acted in the films which had good stories with scope.


                  This yielded good results. I got fans in Telugu who are close to my heart. Thus Siddarth has become an inevitable person in Telugu film industry.


                    Once in a way, I show my face in Hindi films but most of them were not great successes. Tamil cinema is not like that. Till now there are Tamil fans. Due to some reasons I was not able to act in Tamil films. The reason could also be that I did not get good stories.


                       After 7 years I had donned the lead role in 180 directed by Jayandhra sir. Media people are killing me with the question that why there is such a gap. To avoid this question, I have decided to act at least one Tamil film in a year. Now I have acted in the film Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Yeppadi. Give me good stories and I will stay here itself.”
