Team India is best Wait & See : BCCI

Team India Is Best, In World Cricket

In spite of being the masters of all formats of the game, Team India seems to lack the killer instinct on the international grounds. While at home they are tigers but turn lame elsewhere. We cannot decide that India will fail in foreign pitches. Check it once the past results so far it will tells the really story.

The winning Team India is facing serious problems on foreign grounds. The line of batsmen which might send spine thriller to the opposition, with its war bells, is lamely submitting itself. Critics abroad may write the team off, true to its present stature, but this was the team which gave sleepless time to many opponents, a little earlier. True the bowling department was not adequate, but even the batting segment failed to fire, with the only exception to master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. But that alone does not mean we should write off the team. Fans still expect the team to take the thread from somewhere and spin a winning tale. The moment they break the shackles on international grounds there would be no looking back.  Well do I sound as tough minded optimist, yes of course only hope will win says, Norman Vincent Pele, as an ardent follower, I follow the leader.

But I am not alone and am joined by none other than the President, Board of control of Cricket, India, N Srinivasan. He backed Team India saying the side can still beat any top team in the world and needs a little bit of luck to turn it around in Australia. This he disclosed on Thursday while speaking to a Television Channel, at the capital. "We definitely felt they would do well in Australia, and I think even if you take the first Test, there were moments when I think we were on top and for some reason or the other the Aussies got away," he told NDTV in the 'Walk-the-Talk' show.

He regretted the unwanted criticism from various quarters. "I think one cannot really run them down. So little bit of luck, rub of the green as they say, and I think results would be different. We cannot win every match, series all the time, so one has to allow for that," he said. Adding, "I am not defending the performance of the Indian team. I would wait and see."  [ With Inputs From Internet ]
