Arya and Anushka’s Brazil shoots for Irandum Ulagam

The flick Irandum Ulagam has been progressing steadily with it’s shoots. Starring actress Anushka Shetty and Arya in the lead, the movie had some of it’s scenes recently shot in Brazil. Director Selvaragahavan and his cinematographer Ramji who were out location hunting did find some cool spots to get their scenes set in the right frames.


Shooting in Brazil actor Arya remarks about his co-star Anushka, saying, “Anushka is a really down to earth person and she is totally dedicated towards her work.. I have seen very few top actresses, like her.” The actor also told us that working with his director Selvaraghavan has been a pleasure. Even after being told that the director is strict and means business by many, Arya observes that Selva has a good sense of humor and has never lost his cool at the sets. 


The team is back from a trip to Brazil, as the director exclaimed, “Back to India!! What an experience Brazil was! Incredible country and incredible people!” This Arya-Anushka offering will be the first Kollywood flick to be shot in the football crazy nation of Brazil. The team really had a ball doing the shoots in the Latin American country.
